Jesee recommends Style: Ten Lessons in Clarity and Grace and when I searched for it online, I found Ten Lessons in Clarity and Grace which deserves printing and cube hanging, IMO.

BTW, the book in general, and point number four in particular, has a lot to say about information architecture, though he never uses that term. This is what I'm talking about when I say IA is more than just making information easy to retrieve.
