« the false dichotomy | main | what mushroom? »

bzzz

Very busy these days.

Buit I wanted to stop and inform you that if you search for "hats" on google, this is the first site that comes up.

I'm not here to explain it, just to point it out.

With a name like that, I was almost scared to look. And now I have looked, I would have preferred not to...

That was interesting, so I ran searches on Google for other simple words, related to clothing. I searched for "pants," "shirt," "belt," "socks," and a few others. The word "shirt" brought up one of the ugliest websites I've ever seen. None of the searches brought up anything quite as outrageous as hats. There were 2 surprising absences: the only word that brought up a porn site was "panties" (I expected more porn sites), and Nike, Adidas, and Reebock all fail to even make the first page when I searched for "sneakers." I put up all my findings on my home page, over at www.krubner.com.
