Icon madness!

Remember that old Sesame Street song?

"One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn't belong. One of these things is not like the others, can you tell me which one before I finish my song?"

What I want to know is why CNN thought they were such good icons that they copied them.

or is there some partnership between the two that i'm unaware of?

Brought to you by the folks at Clickability. You can find out more about these buttons, which are part of what they call "imWare." (I'm not an employee or investor, just a casual user. The idea is good but the implementation leaves much to be desired.)

Actually, it's remarkably hard to find out what clickability is or offers (solutions! We've got solutions!.. well, I've got this rash, you see.. can you help me with that?) They sure can coin the acromnym, though. they are specialists in IOPS
(Intelligent Online Publishing Solutions).

"As a fully integrated solution, all components work together seamlessly to give the publisher ultimate control over site publication and measurement; as individual modules, each piece can be integrated into an existing infrastructure, giving our customers powerful choices about how Clickability's solutions fit best." Modules of what? Solutions for what? Componesnts of... oh nevermind.

I'm cranky today. Must be the heat.
