I've seen the data

Please read Most Hated Advertising Techniques (Jakob Nielsen's Alertbox). I worked with John Boyd from Yahoo! and Christian Rohrer from eBay (when he was at Yahoo) and the data is extraordinary. And convincing.

There are some interesting numbers here. I always thought that
most of the online ads are very frustrating, now I have numbers too. It
would have been interesting if the survey questions were made
accessible.
