The Onion | Bowling-Alley Owner Wants TV Ad To Look 'More Matrix-y'

Is this your client?

""Is there any way we can work in those falling green letters or something?" Dieber said. "And I'd love to throw in some of those levitating effects. There could be a shot of me in the snack bar, and I jump into the air and just stay there while the camera spins all around me. That'd grab people's attention.""

this is a reality! My client recently wanted the 'falling rain' matrix effect within a flash intro I was developing for them for no other reason other than it was the coolest thing they'd ever seen. After explaining the difference between CGI at Dreamworks is a bit different than freelance flash development I was told 'make it happen somehow'.

Its no surprise, flash developershave already tackled this with some good results. The trick is rather simple and uses movieclips and array's to stream down the text.

I suppose we can be thankful that its the maxtrix everyone wants and not, say, Legally Blonde 2.

Esto es extraño...
Pero interesante. Me gusta la estética de la página. Sencillo, pero efectivo.

Hey I almost flunked spanish in high school, and now french has pushed my small leftovers out of my brain.. what is that? It's extreme but interesting, and he likes the aesthetic of the page, which is senile, but effective?
