08/01/2001 "It takes so little..."

My husband and I were looking at attws.com, trying to find a plan for his new leash-- er, cellphone. Clicking on nationwide covereage you get this dialog box

and once you put in your zip, you get this pop up

I don't suppose they could have made that URL a link? Go that extra mile, guys...

The other problem here is the lovely choice of words for what they did link. I suppose "Please click here for more information" is better than "click here", but only marginally so. This drives me up the wall, especially at work, where we have a 90 page long style guide that dictates creating useful, usable, links, then goes on to specify that at least half of the links on the whole freaking site are the word "More". AUGH!

I think I'm going to make my next business card read "Microcontent Specialist".
