This was not my doing. But, it brings up a point about the Amazon gifting program. Amazon needs to seriously rethink how they construct the their site when buying gifts and buying off a person's wish list. If I am buying off a gift list (other than my own) it should consider it a gift. Yes? This scenario does not trigger a gift message to be added, but tucks it in under gift and gift wrapping. A little tweaking will solve what has caused many mysteries for me over the past few months from recieving gifts from friends that were under the assumption that buying a gift off anothers wish list and sending the gift to the wish list owner would trigger Amazon to tie the buyer's name to the gift.
I believe I have e-mailed Amazon about this, but e-mails from others chould help.

I quite agree! I send presents to folks on the odd occasion, and it's annoying to me that they have no idea where it came from. I want to say "Happy birthday" or "you've got to read this" or "love christina"

You're welcome.
I'd have written a message on the order, but it's so much more fun to watch the couch IAs tearing into Amazon. It's like watching fleas on a packmule.
BTW--I'm sure amazon is saving all your emails, guys.

FYI, Monday, October 22 is Christina's birthday. I encourage everyone who reads this to go buy yet more stuff for her at her Amazon wish list...and to keep her wondering...
