I'm not sure if it was quite fully thought out enough to be a paper-- it feels more like a long blog-- but that doesn't mean that some of the core ideas aren't excellent.
Personally I wrote the headings of a few of the more powerful notions on my whiteboard so I can evaluate against these criteria.. is the design insensitive? vestigal? over-adapted...?

Christina,
I'm glad that you found the article useful. I agree with your criticism. It does ramble and the examples could certainly be better. I'd love to see some really good examples so I can replace some of mine. Due to some time constraints, I simply didn't have time to develop what I wanted. It was part of a side project I am working on right now. Still, I think it gets the creative juices flowing.
One of the important things to point out is that this article reflects my interests in requirements management and requirements engineering. Some readers might be interested in my simple Requirements Engineering Portal. It needs a lot of work, but it should get people thinking.
Cheers,
- John
